The Optima blue top with the light grey bottom doesn't work the best as a cranking battery. Need the dark grey bottom one. The light grey one doesn't seem to recover voltage quick enough sends smart craft into alarm for low voltage. But other than that things seem to be working fine.

I’ve found the same with the optima blue tops. Still good batteries but I’ve never really been satisfied with the cranking/deep cycle combo batteries. But yes the do recover quickly!

Awesome boat, build and thread. I’ve really enjoyed following along on this one! I hope to see the boat in person some day. Keep up the good work!

Sorry been flat out with the jet fuel. Haven't been back out since I put in the new batteries. I don't have a good video of it yet. Haven't got to really run it out yet. Will be interesting to see where it ends up after we get to play with trim and finish dialing it in.

Thanks for the compliment. It definitely has been a labor of love. We have a few things to get done over the winter, unfortunately this is my busy season. The new seadeck has been sitting for a while now. Hopefully in the next week or two we will be back at it. Hope everyone has a great holiday.

I get asked all the time when my Comp is docked, "What's under the hatch of that thing, is there a cabin?" I'm like, Oh Yea! I've got a full bed and a 32 inch flat screen down there. They are like, "Nice!"
:)
