Watch a video of any high X dimension, staggered Bravo outdrive set-up. Once on plane the drive shower pick-up is not getting the water going thru it. I have always put them on my boats and our current 07 38 Lightning full staggered is no exception, but I question how much water they actually flow once on plane. Seems the internal outdrive cooling mod would be a better way to go vs a bolt on Simrek or shower cap.
This is correct. I am 1-5/16 below bottom and my plate and pickup for the drive shower is high and dry at cruise speed. Next step is a separate pickup for either the engine or he drive to simply dump on the drive.
