Default 42 Poker Run coming back?

I was told the other day that it was posted, (perhaps on FB) that the 42PR may return with triple outboards?

Is there any truth to this?
Pipe dream?
Do the molds still exist and are they still viable?
If so, who has them?

Does anyone have a link if there's more info?

Thanks!

I believe you are talking about the post that R3 made. Seems like it would be a good idea with everyone wanting the never break OBs, as for who has the molds why would you think Fountain doesn't still have them?

If they do it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The bottom is the same as the 42 lightning. I think fountain still most or all their molds so I'm sure they still have the deck mold. Hell R3 said the raceboats even come out of the 42 lightning molds then get bottom work to be a raceboat.

It was on FB and went something like this. "Hey that's a beautiful 42 PR for sale in Finland. I've always wanted one of those. 42 PRs- they are one of my all time favorite boats. Reggie 3 chimes in, "Order one and we'll build it. Someone else comments, "I wonder how one would run with 400 OB?" Reggie responds, "Order one and we'll build it."

Fantasy boats get built on FB nearly everyday in this fashion.

I would say there was some good interest from people that could write a check.

When I was in the market for a sit down I always liked the 42 PRs but was put off because they only had two seats in the back. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one now knowing that there are so many capable interior shops that could easily convert it to a three seater and make it look better than factory new.
