Default Fountain Website?

Looks like the Fountain website is getting a makeover.

Only two models?

I read they are fixing/cleaning some of the molds. They will be available again. According to R3

Same thing with the Donzi website. It only shows the Classic line.

No surprise, Baja website has been re-done in a similar format offering outlaw 23, 26, 30 and 35.

I hope they get the other two sorted quickly because as it stands, a newbie might think Fountain are only building CC's and Donzi only builds 16-22 classics.

The unfortunate thing is that other than SEO and web crawling from search engines, there really is no reason for Fountain to even have a website. The information there hasn't been updated in years, and you can't buy parts from it.

Sorry, just bitter this morning.

Hey, don't feel bad, if they did have parts for sale......it would be just rod Holders and tee tops. Seriously with Velocity gone, I feel your pain.

Looks like Fountain Powerboats is going the way of Sunsation, only building center console boat models. I don't buy into the fact they are fixing / cleaning the molds. Once something in life is gone it rarely comes back. Fountain teased about a revamped 29 Fever at last years Miami Boat Show, have you seen that lately?

As I alluded to in my earlier post, I'd be surprised if Fountain build any more sports boats.
From what I've seen, they built a 38' and were criticized for the color scheme and the interior. I think it was going back to have some trim mods. Did it ever sell? There was a 42' built but not rigged or fitted out, did that ever sell? The 29' was touted for a couple of boat shows and never appeared.

I love Fountain boats but if I was running the business to make money, I'd sell the sports line or just shelve it indefinitely. Sorry guys, I love Donzi too but I think they're going the same way.

Website updates are instant. If they were planning new updates on their boats, why would they update only a few specific models and delete the rest? If they're going to keep building sports boats they should plaster a banner across the front page telling the public 'The all new sports lineup will be released very soon'. That would kill off unnessecary speculation.

Disappointing times for many fans.

EDIT: (Just for laughs)
I noticed this thread from 6 years ago suggesting the exact opposite of what I posted here! http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/d...7-end-era.html

Only time will tell......

R3 has been showing a 42 getting rigged with 700s on Facebook. It looks like a new bare hull.
