Get a water gun that sucks up water. That's what I use. Comes in handy for spills in the bilge also. Son thinks I bought it just for him lol.

I also use a low tech solution for that little bit the OER bilge pump won't remove: A rag. Soak it up nice 'n wet, carry to side of boat and hold out over water. Using both hands, squeeze and wring dry as much as possible. Repeat until the obsessive/compulsive demon is satisfied. Then start motor(s) and go for a ride.

Same method but I use a big sponge and wring it out in a car wash bucket , less mess and only one trip over the side of the boat.
