Newbie here, been reading for a while now. I am looking at a couple 27' Fevers. Both local to me are 2006. Is there any ongoing issues I should be looking heavily into? Both boats are lake boats. One has a 600+ HP Motor with Imco drive, other is a 525 I believe a Bravo. I spoke with Marina that maintained the higher horsepower boat and they say it has been very well maintained, with $$$$ not being an issue. The other I have little info. Been around boats and building motors on a few years back, and went out on the lake and got the bug back. Always wanted a Fountain, nows the time. Appreciate any info in advance. If you want to flame me thats ok, just know I will flame back!!! :-)

I was in a very similar situation last winter. I found a one owner 2004 27 with a stock 496HO that had 67 hours on it and was stored inside. The only thing I was told to look for was moisture in the transom because the back of the boat sits so low in the water. Mine was good. I bought it and love it.

Great boat, my first performance boat was the 27/502 mag on the right, then the 29/SC 500EFI on the left. A good mechanical and moisture inspection from someone who knows what they are doing is a must.
