R/C Pier 57 Raceboat
Put this on your Christmas lists. Saturday I was in FAO Schwartz and spotted a roughly 10-inch long radio control model of the twin canopy Pier 57 V-bottom raceboat. The detail is pretty good - has the beak, the steps, even the pad and notch (sort of). Says "Fountain" all over the boat and the box. Runs on 4 AA batteries and only cost $19. It's similar to this one on Pier 57's site, but it doesn't have a rudder or the trailer:

Needless to say, it will be running in my apartment pool as soon as it stops raining.

I saw one at Meijer's a few weeks back, but I have a mean mommy Seems like it was about $50 though and apparently we were not there to buy "toys". LOL!

I went back to Meijer and got the "big" one too. It is about 16" long and comes with the recharger for $44.95 It does have the trailer which the little one did not.
Can't wait to open it up under the tree!
Happy Holidays! Even if you can't go boating on the ice.
