Default Anyone do either a 1" or 2" shortie on 35 EX?

Skeg Monster got me, going to do Imco lowers. Stock 496's on 2005 35 EX. Not sure if I should do stock or shortie lower. Boat planes good now, don't want to lose that. Thanks

How far below the hull are the prop shafts now?
How fast is the boat?
do you intend to add HP?
If you are not going faster than 80 MPH or don't intend to add HP stick with the stock lower.
Do you have a nose cone now or is it stock blunt drive?
Raising the prop shaft WILL effect planning.
I had to modify my drive to allow more negative trim in order to get on plane with my prop shaft height.
