Default Cable Lengths - 2002 35

Hello all,

2002 Lightning Classic/Executioner. I looked at the cables at both ends and can't find any number or indications of the cable size I need. I remembered seeing something on these forums before listing a lot of the boats and what cable sets were needed. Any idea where I can find that, I have searched and come up with nothing. Looking to replace all the indicator cables.

Thank you!

I just did new cables on my 2006 35 Lightning last summer. Cables were 19, 21, 23, 24 feet long.

The number location was about 2 feet from the ends at the helm. Was pretty easy to tape the new ones to the ends and pull them one at a time from the helm to the transom.

Thank you, ok I have a feeling it is marked where I can't see the cables as they pass through down the side of the boat. What cables did you use?

Amazon.com : Dometic SeaStar Xtreme Control Cable, CCX63302, 2ft. : Boating Control Cables : Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com : Dometic SeaStar Xtreme Control Cable, CCX63302, 2ft. : Boating Control Cables : Sports & Outdoors

I went with these since they can have a tighter radius bend.

Bryan, maybe you were on your phone and didnt look at the actual page. But the amazon link provided by BIGSLOW had a drop down to select the length cable you want.

Ahhh yep, ok, I see that now. So I'm wondering then since I don't see a 21ft there or 23ft if you just get the next size up?

You don't have to buy from Amazon either. I am sure someone else has them in those lengths. I do know that Amazon had 21 and 23 on there when I bought them.

Just google search CCX633xx and change the last two digits for the lengths needed.

Am I right that your boat is the Twin step Lightning?

Are the trim and tab cables the same style / model?
