Felt good to finally tow this thing with my own truck. I need to get an external transmission cooler for when the weather gets warmer. I hit 207 when I got into town, but the Chevy forums state as long as it does not go over 220-225 that is normal. Still going to get an external trans cooler with fans to help when the weather is warmer out. Any other recommendations on keeping it cool I will gladly take.

There are a couple of chips in the fiberglass on the step that I need to take care of this winter. F2-Speedy if you know anyone good in the area, let me know.

Good to see you got it home, Ill check around on the gell repair

It looks like they have Gel Coat repair kits. With the boat being all white It doesnt look like it would be too difficult to do this myself. Any thoughts?

...you would be surprised at how many shades of white gel there are and every one will look like a cheap repair if the blend isn't just so! You boat looks like it's been well cared for so the bill for a proper repair won't kill the wallet at the end of the season.

To cover the chips and make them disappear is not as easy as just kicking some gel in a pot and sanding flat after the fact

First of all, ignore the lake grime.. I have not been able to get to the back of the boat to clean it yet with it being on the lift. Curious if anyone has ever had these mufflers on their exhaust. I have seen some for sale across the forum, but I am curious how to get them off. When looking at a diagram of them, it looks like I would just have to remove the 2 screwed at the tip of the muffler and then slide them out, but my guess is they are connected somehow on the other side of the transom. Its been super rainy here all day today, and will be tomorrow also. Hopefully I can get in the boat this weekend to take a closer look. Im also hoping there are some sort of exhaust tips under these as well.

Got the wife involved in the winterization process. Teaching her how to drain the headers for future lake outings.

All winterized and put away for the winter. Next season is going to be awesome getting to drive the boat on our local lake finally.

Let the bottom dry out all Winter. Message me and I will get you in touch with a guy at LOTO, if interested, that will fix those spots right and reasonable $$. If those were not there before, probably happened when they drug it off the lift.
