2003 Fever 29 fuel tank

Need a mechanical drawing for fuel system. Specifically the filler hose connection to tank and overflow connection to tank. Is there a way to access these connections? Think I have a
hole in my overflow hose between the Gas filler and fuel tank. Filled up boat completely this weekend for the first time and got raw gas in the front bilge and sidewall under filler. Blew on
0verflow got a gurgle from tank but could hear air escaping in sidewall. Could not locate leak. Been using boat all summer but never filled tank completely until now. Does anyone have
hands on experience in dealing with this issue. I would like to replace all hoses on the tank to the filler.

I do on a 32 and had to change mine. Its a 2000 model.

First buy a bore scope on amazon, they are cheap now and will help. Lets you get a look at what you will be cutting.

there is no access panel where they connect, you will have to cut one.

Mine did the same thing and looking after I got the hoses off when you bent them you could see some cracks, replaced and all good now.

These pictures are great. Do you think the Fever 29 has the same configuration on the filler neck and overflow connection on the tank? If so how did you cut the floor without nicking the hoses. When complete did you hinge your opening?

i wouldn’t be surprised it it wasn’t close to the same.

get one of those scopes and look real good so you know how much room you have. Who cares if you hit a hose, changing anyway, the tank would be a issue.

no did not hing the opening used 4200 to seal a cover over it. Hope I never have to open again!
lol

used a little pencil air saw, glassed all the opening up when done.

Thanks for the info. I followed your directions. Took boat to reputable dealer in Counce Tennessee. Previous owners of Fountain Dealership Pier 57. Turns out when boat was assembled the fuel line got pinched from the factory. Took 20 years for hose to be compromised. Dealership penetrated decking as you did and put a snap in cover that matched my decking. Just have to pop it out with a screwdriver to access fuel tank hoses. Did an excellent job. No more leaks or smelly bilge. Thanks for all the help.
