So I have an ‘08 35 staggered with 6 blade herings (factory setup)… i have always had fountains so very familiar with how to trim them etc… this is my first staggered setup and I noticed while easing it up on plane you get what I believe to be some cavitation so obviously your controlling the rpms as to not over rev the motors, you feel it more in a good chop… I’ve been told this is normal due to the setup as in the staggered, x dimension, 6 blades etc… I just want to confirm this is true due to the setup and it’s not prop slip or something else? It seems like need at least 3500 rpms to ease on plane, is that what everyone else sees? Also what top speeds are you guys seeing, I know they were testing close to 106

Assuming you are using the tabs while bring it up on plane?
A friend of mine has a staggered 35 and it acts the same way. Just need to bring it up slow. The drive height is up there so it's not going to be hooked up like something with side by sides and standard length lowers.
Realistic top speed is more like 98-102mph depending on the conditions and set up.

^^^ Agree. Drives full tucked and tabs all the way down. Modulate throttle to stay at 3000 rpm as boat starts to walk up bring tabs to full up ( neutral also works well) let it run for a short moment then drives to neutral, let the boat settle in and your good to go.
When docking position drives out 1 number from your neutral setting. This will get the prop wash under the hull and help with better control.
