Default Tab indicator cables

Hey guys, I have a 02 29 Fever and my port side tab indicator stopped working. I'm thinking the cable broke. Anybody replaced these cables themselves? Is it a big pain in the ass to do? Any idea what a shop would charge for the job?

Not on my boat but did a friend's Powerplay last year. Twin engine all new drive indicator and tab cables. Better with 2 guy and patience. Motors were out when we did them and took about 4 hours to do. Motors in on a single probably 4-8 hours.

Single engine....easy.
Twins....learn to live with the busted cable until motors come out.

It's a single 500efi. Does anyone know the length of them and where to buy them? My boat is in rack storage until April 15th so I can't check for a part number on them until then.

Wait until you get to the boat to see for sure. You can usually get them in a couple days or so. Leave the old ones in to pull the new ones through.
