Engines: I ended up trading the 2001 engine to rod for a new 2003 to make everything match.

I see you also did away with the 2 speedo hoses. GPS speedo?

I am removing mine and have the holes filled right now also. I think the stock Mercury way of doing it is just fine, plus it cleans up the transom with 2 less hoses. After all, Fountain still used the Bravo pickup hole on up thru the removable twistloc tab. Seemed kinda usless to just eliminate the path thru transom assembly.
