Don't beat me up for this post!!! I am looking at a '94 29 Fever with twin 454 mags. What kind of performance are we talking about here and has anyone out there owned such a boat? If so, I would like to hear (pleasant) thoughts. : )

I have a 97' with twin 454's, they have about 425 HP each. I see about 83 mph. My boat has a single step bottom. Handles real nice at any speed. Don't beat me up on this, it is nice to have the second motor around the docks.

I think the 29 with twins is a monster! lightweight, lots of power. I have a friend that had one for a while. His only complaint was that if you hit a wave wrong; going too fast, it would take off and get airborne scaring the hell out of all on board. In smooth water with a careful pilot, it's a great boat. Lot's of speed for the money. And you can't beat twins around the docks!!! I was looking for one when I found my 32 by accident.
