Thumbs up She's Here!

Wahoo! I finally took delivery of my 2003 29. 575SCi power and she rumbles like thunder. On my first trip out we smoked a Scarab pretty good. Looks like I've got a target on my back now! Hey, can you get little hot boat stickers for the side of your boat like the Fighter pilots get for downed planes? Wouldn't that be a hoot. Anyhow, I'm pleased as punch to be a new member of the Fountain owners croud. Check her out here (can't post the URL cause it won't let me, but you get the point): http://photos.yahoo.com/yosemite_sam. It's gonna be a heck of a summer! Let the games begin.

LF

Looks great, for size and power you have the best set up. You will be running as fast if not faster than the big ones and burning half as much fuel. When you get a chance can you post what rpm, prop, and top speed you performance sheet say??

Sweet ride, and yes everyone wants to race the best.

The speedo is a GPS speedometer. It calcs distance over time for accuracy by taking positional readings a specified time length apart. Nice piece of technology, and it showed up on my boat DOA. He ordered a new one yesterday. It's rated at 84 mph, I need the report from North Carolina though - The dealer still has it.

Congrats and welcome to the Fountain group. Sounds like a great setup, should be a strong mid 80's boat. You're right everyone wants to run up on a Fountain, that's why I have a Procharger. Hope you have many great seasons with her.

Very Nice,

If I remember it tested in the 83 range when tested in Powerboat last year. Can't remember the fuel load at that time.

Congratulations! Great looking boat. Is the embroidery in the v berth standard or an option? It looks like they were generous with the pillows also. Enjoy!
