Question "REAL SPEEDS....38' lightning TS....

What are the "REAL SPEED" expectations for a 2000 38' Lightning TS w/500efi. Thinkin' about making a big jump to the 38 after having the 29 previously.

Ad for the boat says 85mph, I don't think so. Maybe you guys can help.

Thanks,Greg.

A 38 w/ 500efi's, would be a great combo, the speeds mentioned are right on to my knowledge. Going from a 29 to a 38 what a great way to start the summer

Hope I don't dissappoint you all. The guy backed on my 38'. I just water tested, and made a sound offer for a 38' Top Gun yesterday. I flew in to Miami and hit the water, it was great. I think it will be accepted and I'll be on Lake Lanier this weekend.

Still like the Fountains, but Love Cigs too, and season is here.
