Prop Help For Non-stepped Fever
 

Trying to find the right combo for 89 36/38 Fever.

3 blade vs. 4 blade

Mirage/Hydro/Bravo

Props turned in or out

Boat has twin 502 mag efi w/bravo's was setup from the factory with the Bravos not converted from TRS.

Any recommendations?

I have a 1988 8.8 Meter originally equiped with Bravos. The length is shorter but the buisness end should be essebtially the same. I have tried many props trying to find the best one. I found the 4 blades gave too much stern lift and that the three blades are better with the low X Dim on an older boat. I settled on 27 mirage plus and would think the same in correct pitch would work well for your app. Suprisingly 3 blade quicksilvers worked well also. I would like to try some old cleavers in three blade but have been unable to find any. Out had better control than in.

It all depends on the gear ratio, If it is a 1/50 ratio I would try a set of 25 pitch mirage plus

i have a 92 35 been through the same thing got a set of 26 hydros but like the 27 mirages plus 3blades are a little more forgiving on the drives just my op.

Thanks guys!!! I have a pair of 25p Mirage Plus in the bilge. I will switch the drives (turn out) and give these a try.:)
