Default Factory stereo upgrades????

Does Fountain offer this?

Mine has a sealed sub box built and FG'd inside the rear seat compartment. The glass matting, coating(paint?) and workmanship all look like it was done during original assembly by the way it all matches to the rest of the boat glass work to a T.

Fountain, did offer 4 different stereo packages when I purchased my boat in 2001. However the up charge was crazy?

Most are not worth it but I would have the factory run the basic wires and RCA's instead up getting the upgraded packages. Anything aftermarket is going to be better than the factories want or will do (in most cases)

Ok, so did Fountain offer built in sub boxes?
Don't know if it was after market or factory. Mine has a MTX sub, MTX amp and 6 Kenwood speakers. The sub looks like it was done from the factory, not an after thought.

BTW, the speakers are being replaced with BABBS, bought from OSO's very own FWK

Yes, Fountain did glass in subwoofers. Don't know if they still do now or not but I did see some at a boat show a few years back.

innthered,
Thanks. My boat is a '99.

Dan,
I've heard nothing but good things about them. At least by people that have ever heard of Babbs. Not your regular Best Buys, Circut City, or auto sound shop product.
I went with 2 6x9's at the rear seat and 5 1/4 for the 2 fronts.
