Default 38 Ft Fountain........

Now what is the difference between a Fever and a Lightning? I see a few answers here, but I am not sure.

2003 .....and the salesperson is calling it a Fever deck (made especially for them) HE HE with a new super duper light or facsimile there of hull. I didn't want him to repeat it ( I couldn't hear him) So, I have noticed 38's with windshields and some without (more like fairings) This unit has a fairing and an optional windscreen added.

FEVERS SIDES GO STRAIGHT UP AND LIGHTNINGS HAVE A WALK AROUND DECK.

enticer: I seen the listing by National Marine too and was wondering what they meant by it.

PS How much do they want for the boat? Just curious. PM me if you can.

On the 38 Lightning the rear seems taller above the rub-rail than on the Fever. The older Lightning had diagonal louvered air intake and the newer Lightning has the dual intakes glassed into the sides. The Fever has the standard engine vents installed in the side above the rub-rail. The Lightning also weighs more than the Fever. This all seems to apply to the 38 models anyway

later..............thanks alot man.....that's it. Now that I remember looking at a few. Someone did mention it, but this old brain forgot it. It makes the cockpit larger. I looked at a Sonic and that's what I really didn't care for....was the loss of cockpit AND cabin space due to the walk about. Almost like a center console boat.

I just checked out the repost again and see that the add on I had for you did not take. So, here goes again. Powerquest listed the test boat they have PQ 380, check out the site for Power Boat mag and look under archive and thent he April edition for the 380 test results. That's the boat they are selling.
