Thanks guys! Here's why I ask!
2004 27 Fever II
2004 496 HO MAG
1.65 Ratio
30 Bravo
XD- 19 1/2
5100 Rpm
62.9 MPH - Yes! 27% slip
Fountain is going to be at my house at 6:00 a.m. to pick the boat up and take her back to the factory to figure out what's wrong with the hull. Can't ask for better customer service! Ten hour drive each way! Hopefully it won't take long.

Alli,
That is great customer service, depending on what you want out of the boat, you may have Fountain set it up with another prop and raise the X.
Barry,
Actually I have moved back to VA for now, I have accepted a job here in VA, the pay is allot less but the benefits are great
plus I get allong with my Boss great. Let me know if you are visiting SML any time this summer.

1996 with HP500 carb motor
X-dim = 17.25"
WOT: 75.1 mph @ 5250 rpm
prop: Mach 14.5 X 26p
test driver: Reggie
outside temp: 90 degrees F (thought this would be worth noting, considering his top speed!)
This boat does seem to run especially well - several friends have 27's with various power packages, and this boat seems to be one of the top performers - for a stock HP500 with 300 well cared for hours on it! Best I have seen is just over 75 mph (gps). It will run 73.6 (gps) on almost any day regardless of temp, with 3 adults and better than 1/2 tank of fuel using a 15.5 X 26 Hydro Q-IV prop. I sold this boat recently and my new boat isn't that fast, though

Will,
I need to get out to SML never boated there yet. Be sure to watch for the October radar run in Richmond, let me know if you want to come out I'll take you on my boat.
Revised test reports;
Procharger, intercooler, Stainless Marine exhaust, reprogramed ECU, labbed 28 Bravo=82mph

So now you have a helicopter too???? The run is in the James River near the Berkley Plantation just east of Richmond. There are lots of farms around but not sure of airport other than Richmond Int'l. I'm sure there are some though. This is an unsanctioned event so details will be posted as a date is selected. A group of fast boats just happen to show up that day.
