Gary, we have close to the same boat. Mine is a 2006. Our numbers are identical. I only drove mine twice before putting it away for the winter and can't wait for good weather to return to the Pacific Northwest. I purchased an extra set of Bravo I 26 pitch props. If (and I am not expert here) each inch of pitch will drop r.p.m.s about 300 my thinking is 28" pitch props will be too much for our boats without finding some additional horsepower. Owners on this forum have suggested the gas gauge does not go down in equal increments as it has a "V" shape. Therefore (maybe) when you think you were testing your boat with about 60 gallons in the tank you may have had less. I will start this coming season with the tank full and see what kind of r.p.m.s and GPS reading I see. Another 29' Fever owner suggested Cutting Edge for labbed props and tuning. I might consider having this done as it seems to be the only "low hanging fruit" for increasing performance. I have yet to check on the price for two props.
