Hello North Fork,
You asked about options, the boat that is currently on display at the Miami Boat Show comes equipped with Mercruiser 525's. The boat has a custom dash, Gaffrig monster guages with a tinted windshield with venturi, as equipped the boat show price is approximately $239,000. You can order an Executioner with the classic race fairing as an option ($4,500).
Fountain intends to introduce the above package with 496 HO's and priced at approximately $209,000.
The 42 Executioner equipped with 525's should run in the mid 80's, with a little tweaking of the props and such it would be possible to get the boat to run in the upper 80's.

BTW,
watch out for the new 42 sit down poker run boat that is coming out. equipped with 525's Reggie is claiming 108 MPH with a stock power. I am thinking about building a Poker Run Edition equipped with the new Mercury Racing 1075's, you could be looking at a mid 140 MPH boat.
