Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??

No, I can post pictures.... what I am trying to do is add a damn thread in the photo section so that our stuff will get better exposure. Ok, now I have to de-tune every image to be at a silly low resolution so that it will fit on the damn server.... Geeeezzzeeeee

Steve,
I am sure the pics will be worth the wait.
You mentioned on Sunday that you were working on "boat power problems".
Is everything O.K.?

Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??

Guys,

Thanks for having the Family and I to the Great South Bay of Long Island. It was my first time there and I definitely would not have done it alone. The family and I had a great time and appreciate all your hospitality. Special thanks goes to Gary for holding my hand along the way, Steve for always considering me in the 27, and Greg for the thumbs up while we were in the Ocean. We had a great time. Next time I need to bring some more velcro to hold my wife and kids into the boat when we go outside, It was cool to have the prop out of the water a couple of times, bet it doesn't happen as much in the 42...

Thanks again guys and keep me in mind if you do it again.

Pat, Isabelle, Liam and Emma Brennan

PS...Steve I'm in NorthWest NJ not Southern NJ, it's only in the South that the State Bird is the fly.

Pat,

I assure you it was our pleasure and thank you for taking the time to join us. Keep us in mind for that possible Hudson river junket we spoke about, I am sure I could rustle up a couple of interested parties if you would like some company. Regards to the family, stay well and hope to see you in the future.

Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??

Mark,
Sorry for the delayed response on the vessel issues....

Prob 1
The engine (525 HP) drops RPMs at higer Revs. Meaning that the engine will be reving at say 4000 RPM and then drop to 3300 RPM and bounce back and forth. Almost like water in the fuel or starving for fuel. THe other thing it does is pop out of the exhaust.

Prob 2
GPS Speedo not working....

Prob 3
Passenger seat motor is broken.

Prob 4
Fluid leaking out of steering connections under dash.

Prob 5
Depth Guage sets, but does not display a depth.

Thats a wrap...

Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??

Steve,

Great Pix, Thanks for putting the effort in. Isabelle especially appreciates the "where's the cleat" caption.

Sorry to hear about your boat issues. If it makes you feel any better my GPS speedo isn't working either. Last year I replaced the connector (Fountain Antennae and Gaffrig gauge) but this year can't get it to work at all. I just called Gaffrig this week and their sending me one of their antennaes to replace the Fountain unit.

Good luck to you.

Pat
