It's a loadmaster. I understand that Myco's are the in thing. To be honest I have not driven while the trailer is in tow yet. It seemed to work fine though. It is aluminum with a surge brake and is quite light - 1100 lbs. It has a torsion suspension and disc brakes. The whole thing cost me around $3,800. I don't have the pretty paint and flashy wheels though. Seems like it will last and do the job.

Yep, the Loadmaster will work for you. I think the Aluminum vs. painted is important since you will be dumping it in the salt water.

I have the same make and model trailer as Steve and a fair amount of tow time including one long haul back from PA. The trailer handles and brakes very well and seems to be a decent piece of machinery. It isn't a Myco but it suits my needs especially, as Mark said, in the salt water environment. I did have some questions on the support and spoke to the factory direct, they seem honest and familiar with Fountains on their trailers...looks like what Steve and I have should be fine with respect to the placement of the bunks and support, etc. Boat goes off and on true and easy. Good value for the money.
