Default Boat Graphics... Names, Flames and the rest..

After receiving my 04, 29 Fever delivery with the Fountain Stars and Strips paint scheme, I set out to find a place to have a "name" added to the hull.

I realized that I didn't know if I should have it painted (airbrushed?) on, or made then stuck on. I know I want it to look as great as I feel about the "new boat", but I am not sure what I choose will look good. Are there places that can take an image and play with it on a computer? Is paint better than material. Are there different types of material. Are there different types of paint. The boat will live is salt water, does that matter? Will the adhesive ruin the paint thats already there?

I thought this might be a good thread to start now since I still have a few months before the plastic comes off....

Thanks,
Steve - No Limits

Have it done in Vynl to match one of the colors. it will only cost $30+-. That way when you sell it you can take it off and or change it if you want to later. I will post a pic of mine monday.

NoLimits,

congrats, beautiful boat!
Post more pics, motor, cockpit, etc, please!

Anyway, vinyl graphics all the way!

I use a local sign shop to do everything for me, works great, cheap, removable, the way to go!

Nice!

When you get it in the water, be sure to let us know what speeds you're getting out of that 525.

The boat has roughly an hour on it. I took delivery last November... Now trying to make sure I am ready for my annual April 15th launch.

I am leaning toward the vinyl, just want to make sure it will look good. The guys who paint usually have more ideas. The vinyl shops I have been to seem to do the same things... Measure, choose a font, color and thats it. I want to accent existing paint. I want a clean look, but it should flow and be cool to... etc. The guys I talked to roll their eyes and tell me "Don't worry, I know what you want". I laugh at that since I know I have no clue.

How about your boat, are there pictures of it on here?
