Default the new 42 executioner

Ive heard that the new 42 ICBM has had a name change, and they are going to call it the 42 Executioner not ICBM. Maybe there going to save the ICBM name for a all red boat.

They have a new 42 Ex at a new Fountain dealer in my area. Saw it last Sat. looked pretty good but no details on equipment. It appears to be the same setup as the 35 Ex, graphics, etc. Could not tell what power was in it and the salesman was unfamiliar with the line, it was that new to their outfit. He thought it had twin 525 SC's and would do 88mph...asking price was 229K...go figure!

The new "classic deck" 42 that was at the NY show was called "Executioner". I wondered about it at the time. Different graphics from the 35 and I think it did have 525s.

Hey Jana,

Were you up in NY for the show or just hear about the 42 Ex? Or, perhaps you made the trip north to recapture that "winter feeling" you used to enjoy in NJ!!

I took several pics of the 42x at the NY show, I will see if I can find them and post. It was sitting next to a 35X with custom paint and orange cockpit, interesting.

G - I was up in NJ visiting the parents over Christmas, so I went to the show. Lots more Fountains on display than here in Houston! The 42 was gorgeous. Didn't like the interior on that 35 Ex - orange vinyl - that'll burn you.

That 38 looks like the same boat they had in the Key Largo Fun Run featured in Hot Boat.
