I finally got some of my set up issues sorted out and had my first chance out on the lake today.

Conditions on Lake Mighigan were just beautiful. 1-2 footers

I am trying to break in the new engine slowly but all I can say is WOW! I changed from a 26 to 30 Bravo and accelleration is instantaneous.

Can't wait until I can crank it up!

An other great weekend on Lake Michigan. OK there was a little haze : )

I finally cranked it up and it ran 81 when the rev limiter kicked in. I guess I will order a 32 tomorrow but I have a question for anyone out there with a 525 in a 29. What does your X- dimension say on the official test report? Mine says 19 1/2.

The reason I am asking is that it ran 72 @ 5300 with the stock 500EFI and stock 26 Bravo 1. Slip calculates to 21%. Now I am spinning a 30 B1 and hit 81 @ 5400. Slip calculates to 26% so I am thinking it must be the X dimension is high?

It seems the 525's run 80 with the stock 26 B1 which is like 11% slip.

Thanks

F
