8 After doing the downsizing I realized I don't have the second page to the article. This article was in Power boating Canada. Hope it helps.

Fobes,

A friend of mine has a 1996 24CS. It has been a fantastic boat. No stress cracks and goes real well for a stock 454 Magnum. He is talking about upgrading and it could be for sale. He bought it new form Ocean Performance and has been up here on Sebago lake since new. The boat is presently in storage in Winchester Mass.

Fobes,

we have a couple around us they are great for Lake/ River maybe the gulf but it will beat the crap out of you in the ocean, my 27 starts beating you in 3 foot, unless you are going over 50mph, then you just fly over it

Fobes, I have '97 model with 502 Mag Mpi. Ok on flat water, but will beat you in rough water. I boat on lake water, and it can get choppy on weekends. Above 50 MPH, it will fly over the rough stuff pretty smooth and stable for 17 degree deadrise. Mine runs about 76 with low fuel and two people. Mine is stock.
