Tank Cover Pics

The boys at Factory Fountain must have been in hurry. They didn't bother to line one of the screws up. Whats worst is they didn't bother to go back and fix it. This is looking down at the cover that you have to remove to get to the fuel sensor. The close up picture is showing how they didnt bother to line the screw up with hole. At the price they charge it needs to be right.

Oh, ok. Mine is same way. 1 of the screw holes in the cover frame is in mid-air. Don't look at your side compartment frames. Mine has some air balls there too! Not to mention using 3" screws to go thru 1/2" of backing. Got tired of catching and ripping everything in the side compartmments on those long azz sheetmetal screws or cutting the skin off my arm, so I replaced them all with SS machine screws and nylocks, then cut them all off flush inside then filed the ends smooth this winter. Guess they have trouble with their tape measure reading skills.
