Default Your Boat Is sinking

We got our 32 Fever last Labor Day weekend and boat at LOTO. I have had three people inform me that my boat is sinking. I was wondering if any other Fountain owners have been warned of their impending doom. By the way the bilge is dry we just got that ass down attitude.

Zacuda,

Yea thge 32 and twin 29 Fountains get it the worst, however on a serious note keep an eye on it a few have actually sunk that way in the past, usually they had them anchored from the rear and waves come in through rear vents.

You don't even need to be anchored... just drifting in 2 foot or better waves will cause water in the vent in the rear... not enough to sink it... but enough to make it dirty....

Yeah, it's a common problem with non-Fountain owners.

No water gets past my vents!
Never heard the sinking warning, other than from my 'friends'

Nice vent tips! Looks like a great solution.
I'm grateful mine is old enough to not have those vents in the back. Hardly ever any water in the bilge.

Leave a sign on the seat when you're away that you are NOT sinking.
As stated, 29 and 32 squat a tad-pole more. Looks cool. Fountain has their own look, not like all the rest.

I Think they look cool. But the ass end does sit low on the 32. Last year I got a
call from my wife, whom was up at the lake while I was at work. She said that my
boat looked a little funny, like it was sinking. I tore ass up to the lake and she was
right. My boat was going down. Turned out that the bilge pump power wires come
into a splice just over the center stringer. They had rotted at the splice. Lots
of boat traffic where My dock is. Alot of Rain & wave action, minus bilge pumps
makes for an unhappy 32 Fountain.
