Broken Engine Area Lights
Besides replacing the same lights every 5 minutes, has anyone found a light that will not break it's mounting bracket in the engine area. Mine is a 1997 29 single.

'96 29 - One broken and one not broken. Also looking for a good replacement idea.

Re: Broken Engine Area Lights
Both of mine also broke at the pivot point.
I made new bases out of teflon. Look exactly like the originals but will not break since teflon is not hard and brittle like the original plastic. |

Re: Broken Engine Area Lights
I'm swithcing mine over to the LED strip lights--found them at West and discount stores ofr boat trailers. They are 4-LED strips and totally sealed. They use significantly less current and seem like corrosion cna't happen.
