guys, where is west and dickerson ? what bay or harbor? I can find the spot easy with my maptech. Maybe I could catch up and tag along.

Find the Robert Moses Bridge. East of that bridge is Dickersons channel. It runs NW to SE. West Channel runs North South and is east of Dickerson's. If you own or buy chart number 59 you will easily see the area DragonFire refers too. Oh yes, the bay is the Great South Bay..... The closet harbour is Bayshore..

I think that is a difficult area to meet at though as many ferry's and boats use those channels - lots of wakes and hard to stay in one place when not under power. But it is centraly located.

Is this an ocean run? If so, how about the south and west side of the Captree brigde by the park. They have an enclosed dock area there that could hold many boats. If it is an inner bay run then why not meet west of the Robert Moses bridge? What do you think DragonFire? Tripps?

Do we need to call Paddy's for an optimal time to arive? Anyone want to call them and see, or do we know? Which day is this, Sat or Sun? How about Sat with Sun as a rain day?

Ill call them!! Sat as the day,sun as the rain date,we are better off goin sat,cause we will have more room for our group. As far as ocean or bay,i think its anyway you want to go!! I like the bay way,but the ocean is nice also. I think the weather will decide for us. I perfer to not ,pound my boat, so i'll choose that day,but for all other boaters that have never crusied in the bay in nassau co,it will show you new shortcuts and maybe pick up some other boats!! wadda you's think Tripps

OK it sounds like a good plan,all i got to do is change another powerhead I put it in to nite and the newone started to run foul so i checked it out and when i pulled of the air cleaner and ran it hot ex gas was comin out of the carb,not a good sign !! so i took of the intake manifold and there it was Shrapnel!! oh yeah,thats the new name for the boat,wadda you guys think???
