hi, I have a 35 lightning based out of haverstraw on the hudson. For service I use Fin's Marine Lodi N.j. and Pro Roc in Brick N.J. I would like to hook up with some fellow fountains to cruse with maybe take over a tiki bar somewhere. Glen cove or Torches in Newburgh.

Grieg,

Tell us more about your 35, year; power; etc. Watch this board for further runs and perhaps start one yourself in the Hudson?? Looking forward to hearing from you.

my lightning is a 2001 with 500efi,s. I just had a set of whipple chargers installed,Iam very happy . Boat runs 94 on gps. Also I have already entered the Manhasset poker run as well as the atlantic city run from Toms River August 7th. Yes I have a trailer but the boat is on a hoist in haverstraw marina. You guys boat the southern shores of Long Island , I'am not familar with that area yet but that can change. The next trip I would like to take is to the Manasquan inlet there is some nice clubs to enjoy, Want to come?

Greig,

Sounds like a great ride.. Did you do any work to the heads to handle the whipples? ie: heavier valve springs?????

Hey Steve,

Have a great vacation....
As you know , the same thing happened to my water pressure gauge.
The Authorized Fountain dealer that gave me a great deal on my boat and took my Baja on trade, Shoreline Boat Sales, addressed my warranty service instantly..
They had Fountain overnight me a new gauge, which I popped out and replaced in 5 minutes.
They then had Fountain send a UPS call tag to pick up the defective gauge...
It was painless and they are the best boat dealers I have ever dealt with...
They stock boats and have inventory rolling in.. They accomodated me by delivering my boat from Lake George and took back my trade with their own transport vehicle.. All with a smile and as agreed....
