I am sick of trrying to find a used 38 with graphics I like. To the Fountain boys out there... I heard that the 38s are backed up for a while at the factory? and how much are they for one with the usual options and 525s? Thanks Jim

I know of a dealer demo '04 38 with 525's for sale. It has the stealth graphics.

My dealer has a brand new 2004 38 Lightning in inventory.
It has scirrocco graphics, monsters, billet throttles, optional matching bimini & curtains, vacuflush, HP525's, loaded boat.
Plus it is on an aluminum Myco trailer.

I guess I need to be more precise... I am looking for an 03-04 Lightning with 525s with blue/silver/black graphics...with no checkerboard flag graphics... the more simple and classic the better. Mine currently is the blue/black/silver streamline graphics with blue interior. I would have to trade mine. It is an 03 29 Fever/ 525 with XR drive and 69 hours and trailer. Very Clean. Bought it from Pier 57 and wil be going there over Thanksgiving to see what they have or will have. There are very few 38' staggered out there used with 525's. I don't think you have much of a chance to find the graphics you want. If you look at several of the new and used 38's on the market, your better off trying to buy it cheaper and take to paint shop and have new paint job. As long as you find the interior colors you like, it is pretty easy to have a new paint job. Best price I've seen on a new 38' with 525's is around $225M. I am surprised to hear 38s are backed up at the plant. Most dealers don't stock them- for price of a new 38 you can have a 42X with 525's. Seems most dealers I talk with push me to a 42 rather then a 38. Good luck and hope you find a good deal.
