My 42 Fountain with yje 1200 HP Cobras ran 126 MPH, (122 @ the kilo run at the factory) I have another 42 Fountain that should be finished before Christmas. This one is gelled yellow with dry sump #6 drives with 1350 HP Sterlings.

I am hoping for the low 130's with my new ride.

Yo ! Sorry but it was a busy weekend. 1st runs where disappointing to say the least. She ran high 90's and that was it. Seems to have a problem on the Starb motor. Also has some serious rigging issues to work out. Lot's of stuff lose or not working properly. Sure looked and sounded great from dock side though.

What a shame. I bet he spent big $$$$$ on that ride expecting it to kick a$$ and take names.

All the 1500's I've seen from Sterling had PSI blowers. Any particular reason why the change? Just curious. Thanks...Frank

No idea. The motors have been around for a while so I don't know what's been done to them.
