bryan- yes the boat is silver imron with vinyl graphics
barron- the boat has really deep freeboard-like 4 feet near the front. The ride is great except in a deep following sea. It flies real flat and enters great due to the length vs. beam. Here in the Bay we tend to have about a 20 foot period when the water gets to 3-5 foot, a boat this size rides on top of at least 2 waves at a time and stays smooth and level. We ran in the KW poker run and it was rough from Sunshine to KW-both ways- we still ran 60 or so, but it was some serious running.
I just found out that this boat may be seriously for sale in the near future. My friend Marty has his eye on a 47 and this boat is likely gonna go. It is absolutely flawless both cosmetically and mechanically. It has been completely redone by Art Lilly including stringers and transom. The engines and drives have about 75 hours since major overhaul. If I was in a position to I would buy this boat in a second (anyone want to buy a Formula, Silverton, and Sea Doo
) and it will make someone very happy. I'll post when he figures out a price.

Nice boat, but you need to find some rougher water to really appreciate it

RedFountain420,
Making a Grand Entrance... nice first post, and welcome to the Fountain board. Looks like someone has made a real effort to retain that classic 12-Meter ICBM look. Fine looking machine!
Congrats and Welcome,
Brian

Thanks guys Im very happy with the boat i had to do alot of work to get it in the water this year, boat sat for awhile. complete buff job ( thats like buffing your house) , all new indicater cables, couldnt turn steering wheel had to fix bushing in steering hub, rebuild carb - gas pouring out rear accelerator pump, buy trailer, drive 1000 miles round trip to get trailer, modify trailer for fountain, clean int. , and carpet, replace tachs, clean bilge, replace drive pump resevor, tab soleniods . but after that i put 30 hrs on it with no problems . I bought the boat knowing it needed alot of tlc. Now if i can sell my old boat i can build the motors i want.
