I checked into this with Fountain for my hatch cover project, they offered me a cover that could be mounted with the logo "sealed in" as they called it, which replaced the old cut and sewn in logos of a few years ago. Kinda pricey for me $1500 just for the cover of the hatch, that someone else would have to trim and install, but I bet it looks great.

I wound up with an all white cover with a single lightning bolt in red (have red hull) on a diagonal. It's OK but has it's drawbacks.

Wouldn't the seats still have to be taken apart in order to press on the new style logos?

I didn't pay too much attention after I heard the price, but believe I was told that the logo was made of different sections of vinyl used a heat sealed seam approach that eliminated the sewing. For Example, you would have a piece of red vinyl sewing to a piece of white vinyl. The new system eliminates the sewing and "bonds" them together eliminating the seam, sorta like "one piece". This was how it was explained to me.

These were not pieces that were pressed into a backing surface, but were made part of it. SO, if I got it right, then you would have to take your seat apart for the "new" back with logo to be installed.
