Stiching
I noticed at the ny boat show the small logo's of "fountain" are not stiched anymore, they are glued , or hot pressed. Has anyone been able to reproduce this on new uplostry? I wouldnt mind adding a one to my new seats if possible without taking them apart. Fountain, inc dosnt respond to emails and the staff at the show were clueless - they were very helpful if I laid a 50k depo down though..

Re: Stiching
I also notice your transom has the same layout as my 35 w/ exhuast coming out onto the swimplateform. I get the same brown color from exhust. What have you found to clean it up the easist, I have tried a few products but nothing seems to work other than 3m compound, which is a pain after each run.

Re: Stiching
If you check out my avitar I think this is what you mean. My 29 is a 2004 with a standard interior (no upgrades) and has the bonded logo on the back of the headrest. I was told that Fountain did this to avoid fading and unraveling of the stitiched logos...I actually prefer it the way mine is done...matter of taste and desire. I think it unlikely that an aftermarket shop could do this but who knows?

Re: Stiching
From looking at it close it looked like it was pressed on with heat, so could it be done after seats are finished on an older boat with new bolsters?

Re: Stiching
g,
I think it was a cost affective option, I like the look of the stiching. From waht I was told they chaged it last year. |
Re: Stiching
g, How did you get the "ellen joyce" on there..?
