Where can i find aluminum anadyzed cup holders to fit in stock location behind the front bolsters. Hole size is 2-7/8".

Try Trick Marine, that is where I purchased mine, do not be surprised if you need to open up the currents holes a little bit, I had to with all 4 of the ones I replaced.

Fountain uses a bastard size cup holder. All I have ever seen need to be opened to the standard 3"

Is making the opening difficult to do? Or is it just filing?

I used a roto-zip when I installed mine, not very hard.

You can also just use a coarse file. Hardest part would be to keep the vinyl pulled back far enough w/o tearing at the slits. I was going to do my 2 on the back of the front seats, but the wood framing under neath is so close to not allow a larger cup drop in there, I was affraid to find out the hard way.

Someone told me to try and paint the fountain cup holders with an anodized spray paint. I plan on trying it this spring when I pull the boat out of storage.

Seen it done to aluminum, looks like the real deal. Don't see plastic giving the same results.

I used the spray paint on the black plastic engine/side vents until I get my CNC billet ones made. You first spray a base coat of metallic silver and then top coat with a translucent color. Mine turned out very well and held up last season so well that I put off working on the new ones. A lot of the auto parts stores sell the rattle can paints to do this with.
