Hey Rob.......I remember that sub, Brad is correct, that was the first year....amazing, I had never seen anything like that day and that sub....flat as a street all the way, the sub's wake was the only ripple in the water.............
I still remember hanging overboard with my legs in the water, approximately 15 miles out, trying with my right hand to replace a bellhousing cooler water hose that came off, (obviously had to be the starboard cooler on the starboard engine) and Albert lying over the engines with a screwdriver trying to tighten the clamp that I couldn't reach.......all the time thinking Jaws was going to make me three feet shorter.........damn right we finished the race...........

Not knowing what boat size or hull style I still would still say that you would run out. That would be over 1 mile per gallon,very tough with that kind of power and that's if the seas or perfect and you run a go straight line. Add a fuel tank ,,, better to be safe than sorry!!
