Welcome,
You will love the boating down here. 24/7 - 365. Well, except for the occasional hurricane warnings. lol
I believe you used to have a 24' Baja Outlaw?
What are you looking for now?
Look forward to meeting a Baja brother.
Terry

Thank you all for the warm reception....My name is Chris and my wifes name is Angela (chris n' ang) I am a network engineer and my wife is a teacher. we both have new jobs already and have rented a house on the island that we move into in the middle of July. I did have a 24 Outlaw that I sold up north, thinking I wanted a 30 plus rig for the Gulf, but have re-thunk that idea and want something to putz around the ICW as well. something around a 25-27 foot I think...;-) Nice to meet you all!

Chris,
Welcome aboard!
Go for the bigger boat - less than 30' will get you bounced around pretty good in the gulf even on decent days. The ICW can handle large boats - even it gets choppy at times. You (and your wife) will thank yourself (you) later.
Is it me, or should the Naples Gang start our own boat brokerage company?????
