We will really have to be more observant when running the waters in our area. Another group of Cubans washed up on the shores of Sanibel.

How in the heck did they float around the keys and get up that far? You would have to believe that another boat dropped them off.

I would agree Dennis. Probably dropped off.

I am all loaded and heading to PIB in the morning. Will call you after we get settled in.

Here's a good one. my g/f is pulling my boat from her sister's house on captiva a couple days after the cubans landed. The cops (all 5 of the sanibel police) stop her - why, because they wanted to make sure she was not smuggling cubans. they did the paperwork inspection on boat, truck and her. Her comment to the cops - if I was smuggling cubans, wouldn't the boat need to be in the water. Priceless.

The last 5 arrests they've made down here have all been boats on trailers being towed........................They can catch them on land, but they get outrun on the water. Coast Guard FMB just took delivery of a three engine boat so they don't get outrun anymore.
