John I think by my calculations your boat will actually be 37 ft long with the beak kit and the swim platform. All of our Bajas are now worth more I am really starting to like my .42 special lightning

John

Here's what I think.
Since Reggie owes Brunswick 18 million plus, and he's under the table with his own bank, Brunswick is giving him Baja until he can't pay, and then Brunswick will own
FOUNTAIN AND BAJA !
My predictions!

Good theory, but it looks like they are closing the plant in Ohio.... I wonder if our values will tank or take off??????

John, you are right, I forgot about the built in swim platform..........I won't give up my "Sunmaster Special" platform though.

Yep I have mixed emotions on this. If the brand keeps going. I think we are in good shape. If they get cutoff. Values will plummet.
I think some of the bigger models.....the 35OL will not be in production. Reggie has the 35 and the 38.
A new 35OL goes for 175-225K with HO's.
a 35 executioner with ho's a tad more. I would think you have to compare the 38 lightning for the size of a 35OL. then it splits the $$$ more. A 38 lighting with 525's get to middle 250-300k range.
a good deal on a 35OL with 525's can be had for 200-225K
real money.
The baja brand is strong. hell look at our group every run brings out some Baja's

WAs thinking of giving up my Rinker and Skater for one single engine inboard looking for under 30' or under, 70 mph and trailerable for a 1/2 ton truck. Baja and Fountain were top considerations. Now what????
