Do we receive any sort of confirmation of membership(card, letter, etc)? I've mailed mine($ and form) in but have not heard back. Just wondering. Hope to make the 'Turkey Run'. Still truckless, so boat is still here in TN. Great photos BTW. Ken

Hello Ken. Thanks for mentioning that. I will get busy and send out a confirmation to everyone that has signed up soon. Our focus recently has been on organizing the run and knew that there would be several sign ups there.

We have you down as a paid up charter member - thank you.

28 member have signed up so far. Our goal is 40 by Thanksgiving and 50 by year end. We are off to a great start.

I am now working on the Thanksgiving run. I will post latest info before long now. Also have been speaking with South Seas. Going to be a run to remember.

Thanks to all who helped make our first "official" run a success. The weather and water were great. The staff at Naples Bay Resort were very accommodating, providing us with a elegant venue for our buffet lunch. They opened the door of their yacht club for our exclusive use, with plenty of staff on hand to help with table service, bar tending, etc. It was great to get out of the sun on such a warm day and enjoy a hot and cold buffet (with desserts!)in air-conditioned comfort. The Resort itself is a great place for boaters with, dockage, fuel, dining, and new, clean suites for overnight stays. I'm glad I made it down to see everyone, and to thin the blood just a little. If this run was any indication, we should have a great boating season, and help a few kids reach their educational goals.
