We're Back!!!!!

So after a bad winter boating season of breaking lowers, loosing props, fuel pumps locking up, and finally blowing up one of my outboards, I finally did the right thing.

I just placed an order for (2) brand new 250XS!!!!! They will be here next week for the Motion! The boat will be back on the water by the end of the month. I will be posting pictures once we start rigging the boat!

Amanda and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Yeah it took me a while to save up enough money. I blew up the engines in January so the boat has been covered up since then. I was able to sell both of the old engines and also had to sell my Fastcat flats boat to afford these new engines.

But it will all be worth it!

We are doing really well. Right now we are testing the 2nd generation (230HP) diesel outboard right now. Once testing is complete we will be going into production. We will be updating our website with alot of information in the next month or so.

Amazing what a blown 2.5 will bring for parts or rebuild huh, I am still parting out a few motors, and get a few hudred for parts every few months, but the stash of parts is running low. I love my 3 litre, just wish I had held out for a 250, the 225 gets me near 60, and runs like a top for an old motor, you will love the torque over the old 2.5's. I know about the boat being layed up, I spent 4 years restoring mine, and the only thing I didnt do was the transom, well now I keep getting stress cracks from the flex, so it is time to do it, I will Fix it one more time, and reinforce it(I got a way to strap the upper motor bolts to the stringers using stainless threaded rod and clevises engineered up in my head) just to get me thru the summer, then come fall when it cools off I am going to redo the transom, and delete the motor well, and use a Stainless, or Armstrong bracket all at the same time, probably repaint the boat and go with all white this time too. Problem is, the boat is plenty fast with the 225, but I am afraid to use it in the rough for fear of losing the transom completely, it has an aluminum plate over it now, so I am sure its not going anywhere, just not a good feeling when you get home from a rough day, and there are stress cracks in the corners

Don,

Sounds like that will be a great package with nice dependable 250XS. Best wishes.

I just goy my Skater back a few hours ago from Page racing, Once they had the parts, they had me come in yesterday Wed, and out today Thur. One day turn around, thank you Page racing.

I have a set of Throttle-Up 4 blade CNC cleavers to try tomorrow or Sat. I have all my hopes on these props.

Once we both get back to dependable running, we need to do a run/trip together.

Sounds like a great idea! I am looking to take some longer runs with this new power package.

Good luck on the prop testing. Keep me posted on the results!
