How you doing buddy?

From Boca Grande Inlet (entrance to Charlotte Harbor)
to Big Sarasota pass (entrance to Sarasota bay), 44 miles, all outside

from Big Sarasota pass (entrance to Sarasota bay)
to bay-front marina/hotels another 6 miles

The nice thing about a run up to Sarasota is if the weather changes and the Gulf is too rough it can be done all ICW. A two hour ride offshore becomes a four hour ride in the ICW but beats getting the truck and trailer. I have done it both ways. I would not want to do ICW both up and back as becomes a bit too long. One way is bearable.

38 days and counting for the fun to begin.
For those who missed Burnt Store Marina
run last year it was a really good time,
and the marina was very helpfull getting
all the boats docked. The food was good
also.
