IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MARINERS...MARINE FORECASTS ARE ISSUED AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A DAY. BOATERS ON EXTENDED TRIPS SHOULD ROUTINELY MONITOR SUBSEQUENT FORECAST ISSUANCES AND UPDATES FOR THE LATEST MARINE WEATHER INFORMATION.
Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS THE CENTRAL PENINSULA THIS AFTERNOON WILL SINK SOUTH AND EAST TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES. THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTH THROUGH THE WATERS ON WEDNESDAY WITH SOME SHOWERS ALONG AND AHEAD OF IT. THE FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTH OF THE WATERS WEDNESDAY NIGHT. STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION DURING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT WITH GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS AND CHOPPY SEAS EXPECTED. THE HIGH WILL SLIDE OFF THE MID ATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST COASTS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE WATERS ON SUNDAY.

Friday Through Saturday...East winds around 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Bob note: Looking good with lots of sun and warm temps !! With the winds being out of the east ( onshore ) I would expect water conditions will be great within a few miles of the coastal beaches. 2 - 3's would be well offshore.

Great Shaun and welcome to FMO. I have often wondered why more of you east coast guys do not come over and join us. A few have experience the great boating we enjoy here. Please go to our website www.ftmyersoffshore.org and sign up or we can deal with it at the lunch stop if you prefer. A boaters membership is only $ 60 and will be good thru till the end of 2012. I look forward to meeting you. Also please PM me your e mail address so we can keep you informed of any changes etc.

Thanks,

Bob
