Default Boating off Captiva and Cayo Costa, SW Florida

Earlier today, our 16 year old and I went down the harbor, out to the Gulf, and
down to North Captiva island with one boat. We found a beautiful calm spot, in
clear green waters, nice whicl beached, and palm trees. As I set the first anchor,
and while I was setting the second anchor, we saw the largest jellyfish, I have
eve seen in the Gulf. A few seconds latter, we saw another and another. OK,
next plan, pull the anchor, and off to our alternate destination. It all worked out,
just a beautiful day here in SW Florida, with amazing clear blue skies. The water
is crazy warm, actually, hot. We enjoyed a few hours, before we headed back to
the house. Total round trip by boat, was 70 miles.

Nice pics as always Frank. Today would have been a great day for a FMO run. Here is a video with a 30 motion that will be joining the club.

Very cool. One of my favorite boating destinations. We may be dragging the boat that way in a few days.
