WEATHER: Bob note: I am watching the weather closely. With the current forecast showing a 30% chance of rain (The Weather Channel) and 20% chance by National Weather Service, our position is the run is on. A 70% to 80% chance of not getting wet is pretty good odds. NOAA calls it a "slight chance of showers". If the rain probability goes to 40% by Thursday, we will look at postponing to NY Day. The wind and sea conditions do not appear to be a problem. Please check back here from time to time. I will continue to watch and post updates with any changes.

Friday Night And Saturday: North northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas less than 2 feet nearshore and 2 to 3 feet offshore. Bay and inland waters light chop. A slight chance of showers.

Bob, I will keep an eye on this thread but will you please text me if it does change to NY day? Our plans for NYE are to take the Meridian to Ft Myers Beach Marina but if the run changes we will need to bring the Donzi as well in order to make the run looking forward to it either way!

Just talked to Tom Wilhelm and his internet is down but he is "IN" in the 42 ft Fountain.
That makes 5 of them.

Ha, it's sitting in the rack at Marco. I will get out on it Friday and Sunday but am planning on running the Nor Tech in this run. Maybe I will let my nephew bring it to the run. Would be a shame to see it sit this one out. And Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Thanks, Bill. Looking good. Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather ! No change in the forecast so far so think we are going to be OK. Hoping everyone is enjoying this Christmas Day. Snow between my toes today and sand tomorrow ! I'm looking forward to seeing all the FMO gang soon.
